Designed and manufactured to match the performance of the Statement speaker cable, the Tellurium Q had to completely re-think the way they approached the RCA in terms of their microgeometry, production process, insulation, etc., but the time and R&D put into developing these cables has paid off as it has the same performance profile as the speaker cable.
The new Statements are a critic's nightmare, as how to describe them without repeating words or confusing them with something you've heard before.

Tellurium Q is often asked what they do to make their cables work so well. The answer is simple, I know they do a lot of little things together that become very important to preserve the relative phase of a signal. People assume, that for the best performance, the "fastest" conductor is pure silver. Which is also one of the reasons for the pointless chase after the nines, as I call it, for example, 99.9999999% pure copper, as if that were the most important factor for a cable!
Surprisingly, to get the most natural sound, it's not simply about conduction. This is why, any conductor from any cable manufacturer on this planet, will act as an electronic filter, and that means the various frequencies relative to each other are shifted with each material they pass through and are also affected by insulators, geometries, shielding etc. The interesting thing is that materials affect frequency ranges by different amounts. It really is a finely tuned balancing act to make sure you get a natural and transparent transmission. This takes a LOT more research than people might imagine. Even down to the solder that Tellurium Q uses. It's not standard by any means for the audio industry and Tellurium Q has tried numerous blends and various percentages of silver in the solder, but at the end of their testing and development they find, they have a silver-free (and lead-free) solder.
Even the process by which Tellurium Q is soldered and the temperature/time, "wraparound" to complete the process, is strictly controlled and specified, and it's not the same for every wire either!
Connectors may look relatively common but they have multiple layers of plating, and not always the material you would expect. There are even more details and precisions within the plating process itself, because Tellurium Q specifies the thickness of the plating and what should and should not be in the plating bath.
These are just a couple of small details that make up just a small part of a cable. The detail, precision and attention is the same for the rest of the products. And each small step needs controlled audition and testing against other time-consuming options, but hopefully the results will speak for themselves.
