The Cardas Golden Reference speaker cable is designed with a 3.5 AWG construction using 816 individual conductors, with each polarity consisting of 408 conductors. This results in a capacitance of 36.9 pF per foot. The cable is constructed using Cardas' "Golden Section" design with multi-gauge stranding, a symmetrical 12 conductor helical triad, and quad-axial planetary arrays.
