The Milty Zerostat 3, when used correctly, is a very effective weapon in the fight against dust and static charge. Give it a shot!
This gun has been originally made for use in combination with gramophone records, but is also used in photography (negatives, slides, etc.) and in laboratories.
Point the gun at the object to be treated and hold it in a distance of approx. 30 cm. Squeeze the trigger sufficiently slowly that you will not hear the device click. This movement releases a powerful stream of positively-charged ions. Now let the trigger relax again in the same slow motion. Do this again so slowly that you do not hear the gun click. By relaxing the trigger in this way a stream of negatively-charged ions is released. When used correctly, the gramophone record is completely stripped of any static charge: the result is amazing. In principle, you can use the gun also to dispose other objects of static charge. However, always ensure that these objects are not connected to mains or a battery.
